2026 Taiwan Pride Week Events

Crab Crab Center’s OCCUPRIDE comes to Taipei for the first time, taking over Riverside Live House at the Ximen Red House on both nights of Pride weekend — Opening Night on Oct 30 and Grand Night on Oct 31. The theme, “1908 Ximen Rainbow Night”, refers to 1908, when the Red House was still a market hall.

The night is split across two stages: overseas performers, DJs, GoGo dancers and drag queens take turns on the main stage, while the AOOZ Stage hosts a silent disco, and there is also a boozy aerobics session. The venue is close to Ximen MRT station, within walking distance once the parade ends.

BURN is a techno party brand that usually runs two stages. This year’s BURN THE RAINBOW falls on Wednesday, Oct 28, ahead of Pride weekend. LA FIN TAIPEI opens all three of its rooms for the first time, with 12 DJs across the FLAME, BURN and FIRE stages, mostly playing hardcore techno.

The line-up includes BOLM and BEOM from Korea and Hong Kong-based Mexican DJ Isaac Roldan, plus two GoGo shows during the night.

October 30 — CANDYLAND An independent Taiwanese party brand, CANDYLAND centers on Techno, creating an ambiguous and intimate underground rave experience. With extensive experience hosting events, the team has been organizing a series of parties over the three months leading up to Pride Weekend to fine-tune the venue setup and ensure a better fit for the experience. Their dedication to getting things right is evident, offering hope that the overcrowding issues of previous editions can finally be eased. Lineup: DJ PELATTO, Jamie Q, TERRY × Fififlat (B2B)

October 31 — CANDYLAND × BACKDOOR CANDYLAND brings Techno, while BACKDOOR focuses on Circuit House. Together, these independent Taiwanese party brands create an underground rave driven by two distinct musical identities, where ambiguity, intimacy, and emotional fluidity intertwine. Their distinctive aesthetics promise a one-of-a-kind journey. One of the main criticisms of previous editions was overcrowding and the strain it placed on the venue. This time, the event appears set to open up two expansive underground dance floors, transforming the urban landscape into a cyberpunk playground for Taiwan’s queer underground scene. FUSION TAIWAN is an electronic music party for the fetish, kink and BDSM community, built on the principles of Safe, Sane and Consensual (SSC): ask before taking photos with anyone or making physical contact.

On the evening of parade day (Oct 31), FUSION returns to LA FIN TAIPEI in Xinyi with its Pride After Party, this year themed “ENTROPY OF DESIRE”. The party is split into three areas: the Main Stage plays trance and EDM, Red Door is chill and ambient, and the Outdoor Floor is for lo-fi and connection. That night’s wristband also gives discounted re-entry to La Fin’s later event.

Taking place on the eve of the parade eve, this Circuit Party is the perfect warm-up for the city’s electronic music circuit, infused with the energy of Taiwan’s local scene. With thoughtful planning, a well-organized presale system, and a strong focus on safety and crowd management, the event makes for a smooth, comfortable, and hassle-free experience. This Pride Week, AA Party’s theme is “Onboarding,” with two consecutive nights of parties on Thursday and Friday, October 29 and 30. DJ Tommy Love takes the stage on October 30.

SLUTs is a party brand that started in Berlin. The music is Berlin techno, there is a darkroom on site, and the atmosphere is more direct than at most parties. Its tagline: “Come to dance, come to get wet, come to love.”

On the Friday of Pride weekend (Oct 30), SLUTs takes place at LA FIN TAIPEI in Xinyi.

Rooted in the beautiful island of Taiwan during the proud month of October, the X-Formosa Rainbow Music Festival creates Taiwan's grandest and most iconic international party. In addition to a lineup of Tier-1 DJs, the performances proudly embrace the local roots of Formosa. Spanning three days with distinct color themes, the festival caters to diverse communities. In this massive international gathering, Taiwanese boys take center stage as the shining protagonists, drawing in crowds who adore them. Linked closely with Bangkok's White Party in late December, sweating it out on the dance floor here might just spark a connection, an exchange of socials, and a high chance of a reunion in Thailand!

The DJ lineup includes Danny Verde (Italy), Anne Louise, Junyo, Las Bibas From Vizcaya (Brazil), and Suri (Spain). The venue is located in Wugu, New Taipei City, which is a bit of a distance from central Taipei.

Cosma is a gay club in Ximending with two rooms, Outer Space and Inner Space, each with its own DJ line-up. Entry includes tokens: one for a draft beer, two for a cocktail. For Pride Week, Cosma opens four nights in a row, each with a different theme:

From Nov 1, Cosma also runs COSMIC CRUISE, a three-day, two-night gay cruise.

Pawnshop is a techno club on Xinyi Road, playing techno, house and disco. Its Pawnshop Pride Week runs four nights, each featuring a queer underground party or DJ from a city in Asia or Europe:

Hunt is a basement bar on Guiyang Street in Ximending. There are no shows: the bar is built around dress-code nights, the atmosphere is direct, and the focus is on the people there and how they interact. During Pride Week there is a different theme almost every night:

Oct 29 (Thu) Shirtless Party: everyone takes off their shirts at midnight Oct 30 (Fri) Fundoshi Night: rokushaku fundoshi for rent, with staff to help tie them Oct 31 (Sat) Underwear Party: on parade night Nov 1 (Sun) Towel Night: towels provided Nov 2 (Mon) White Neon Night: moved to this day for Pride Week, free entry for anyone wearing white

Some areas are dimly lit, and the bar asks guests to keep an eye on their belongings and respect each other’s boundaries.

BITCH TAIPEI is a bar on Kunming Street in Ximending, with the motto “At BITCH TAIPEI, every day is BITCH DAY”.

Its BITCH PRIDE FLIGHT WEEK runs six days in a row, from Oct 28 to Nov 2. The bar is normally closed on Thursdays but opens every day this week. There are DJs every night, a drag show on Oct 28 and GoGo dancers on the other nights. Entry includes drink vouchers, and a limited daily fast pass and limited-edition Pride T-shirts and fans are also available.

Utopia is a bear bar in Ximending. On Pride weekend it teams up with Tackle! -Rugby night-, a rugby-themed party visiting from Japan, for two nights: the Bear Eve Festival on Oct 30 and the Utopia Pride Party on parade night, Oct 31.

Both nights feature GoGo dancers from Japan, and entry includes free-flow cocktails and beer plus a limited-edition gift.

Commander D., in a basement on Kaifeng Street in Ximending, is a bar themed around BDSM and fetish, with low light and heavy electronic beats. Regular nights include Shibari Night, Puppy Night and various dress-code nights. Its core principles are awareness, consent and respect, and guests are just as welcome to sit with a drink without taking part.

On Tuesday, Oct 27, Shibari Night runs as usual, open to beginners and experienced players alike; guests can watch or ask to be tied. Any special events on Pride weekend will be announced by the bar.

Match is a karaoke bar in the East District that stays open for singing until closing time, with a song list built mostly on Mandopop hits.

Match has three nights during Pride Week; both PRIDE BOYS nights are an open bar all night, with handsome guest hosts:

HypE is a bar in the East District known for theme nights built around K-pop and pop, where the whole room often starts singing along as soon as a song begins.

HypE runs two nights on Pride weekend:

Oct 30 (Fri) Pride March Eve Celebration: the night before the parade Oct 31 (Sat) PRIDE AFTER DARK: after the parade, under the tagline “Let the city see us by day, and let the dance floor remember us by night.”

Wan Huai Bar in Taoyuan is a gender-friendly bar themed around fetish, rope and other subcultures. All of its events follow SSC (safe, sane, consensual): no touching or photos without consent.

It has three events during Pride Week:

Oct 28 (Wed) “Knot Lab: Advanced”: a rope workshop for people who already know the basics Oct 30 (Fri) “Intoxicated Ultimatum”: an all-you-can-drink night Oct 31 (Sat) “Floating World Night Walk”: the finale of its Halloween season, with Japanese-style costumes welcome

The bar is in Taoyuan, not Taipei.

Wink 1 is a bar in Ximending near Exit 3 of Ximen MRT station, combining cocktails, karaoke and live shows. It welcomes straight guests too, and hosts birthday parties, gatherings and small concerts.

This year Wink treats all of October as Pride Month, with shows on both nights of Pride weekend: Jimmy × Vincent on Oct 30 and Marianne × KOSE × Kun on parade day, Oct 31. Cocktails are free-flow from Oct 30 to Nov 1.

Locker Room is a bar in Ximending with drag shows and GoGo shower shows every Friday and Saturday night, two shows a night.

On the Thursday of Pride Week (Oct 29), Locker Room adds a special night: a fan meet with Japanese gay adult-video star Shuto Oki. Thirty of the 150 guests are drawn for a photo with him, and the drag and GoGo shows go on as usual. That night’s Locker Room wristband also gives fast-lane entry at Cosma.

DRUNK is a karaoke bar in Ximending. On parade night (Oct 31) it pauses karaoke for DRUNK PRIDE, an all-night DJ party, with DJ LULU on the decks and performances by GoGo boys DAIGO and SOU.

Guests who visit on parade day receive a limited-edition DRUNK scarf while stocks last.
